Dueling Axes Las Vegas Will NEVER Pair Your Group with Strangers

It is our promise to you. You don’t go out with your friends to hang out with a bunch of randos – so we simply won’t do it. To reiterate, we promise to NEVER pair you and your group up with other people you don’t know when you visit Dueling Axes Las Vegas. Your group will always get its own dedicated throwing lane, or multiple lanes, depending on group size.

Groups of 6 people or fewer will be put on a single lane. For groups of more than 6 people, our online scheduling software will automatically reserve adjacent lanes, ensuring that, no matter how many people are part of your party, you’ll all be in the same area.

All safety and technique training is conducted immediately prior to the start of your axe throwing reservation time. That means you’ll always get your full reservation time for throwing and playing games; none of it is taken up by training. Once your training session is finished, our Dueling Axes Las Vegas staff will continue to be available to you, and you can use their expertise as much or as little as you want. Your personal coach will also serve as your group’s bar server.

Make Your Axe Throwing Reservation

Making your Las Vegas axe throwing reservation online has never been easier. Start out by using our online axe throwing scheduling calendar to see our lounge’s availability in real time. Then enter the number of people who will be part of your group and how long you want your reservation to last, after which our calendar will show you the available dates and times. From there, you can choose your date and time, fill in your information, and make a decision on payment – pay the entire reservation right away, or hold the reservation with a deposit.

Once you’ve got your axe throwing reservation secured, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a link to our waiver. This waiver is required for every attendee in your group, even those who don’t intend to throw, and we strongly recommend all group members sign them prior to their arrival the day of your reservation. On that day, we suggest you arrive about 15 minutes early to get checked in for your Las Vegas axe throwing reservation and go through the required training.

As noted above, your axe throwing session will be preceded by safety and technique training led by one of our friendly staff members. Afterward, we’ll lead your group to its dedicated throwing lane – remember, we won’t ever pair you with strangers. Once you start playing on your lane, your reservation time begins.

It’s up to you how much time your dedicated axe throwing coach spends giving you the finer points of axe throwing. They’ll offer as much or as little help as you want, so your group can experience axe throwing however you want. That dedicated staff members will also be your server, bringing any beer or wine you need from the bar to your lane. We won’t hover unless you want us to!

Beer, Wine and Food at Dueling Axes Las Vegas

Our Las Vegas axe throwing lounge has a beer and wine bar, and allows food to be brought in from any food vendor inside AREA15. You read that right. You can bring food in, or have it delivered, from any of our neighboring eateries as long as they are located within AREA15. They’ll deliver their full food menu directly to your axe throwing lane(s).

Each axe throwing lane has its own designated seating and table space for your group to enjoy. Our lounge is spacious, comfortable and filled with great music. We also have a VIP throwing room with 4 lanes that can accommodate up to 24 guests at a time. You’ll have direct access to the bar and your own private server.

How to Throw an Axe

As Simple as 1, 2, 3

Step 1

With your dominant hand on top, grip the base of the axe handle firmly with both hands Don’t squeeze.

Step 2

Making sure the blade of the axe is pointing toward the target, raise the axe over and behind your head, gently rocking back on your dominant foot.

Step 3

Step forward with your non-dominant foot while bringing your arms forward in a throwing motion. Then, with your arms extended forward, release the axe towards the target, keeping your wrists in line with your forearms.
