Do I have to pay, or buy an Experience Pass to enter the AREA15 building?
No. If you make a reservation with Dueling Axes you can use your confirmation email to skip the security line and gain direct access into the AREA15 building. No additional fee will need to be paid, or Experience Pass will need to be purchased to get into the building.
Is there an age limit?
Though there’s no hard age limit at Dueling Axes Las Vegas, we recommend that throwers be ages 10 and up to ensure they have the strength to hit the target and get the axe to stick. All throwers under age 18 will be required to have a parent or guardian who can legally sign their liability release with them. Age restrictions may also be in place during peak times and nights.
Do I need an axe throwing reservation? What if I just want to walk in?
Reservations are highly recommended to guarantee a lane for your group. Reservations can easily be secured through our real-time, online scheduling calendar. However, as with a bowling alley, walk-ins are welcome during our standard open hours as long as there is a throwing lane available. We suggest you check our online schedule in advance, though, to give you a better idea of our availability, as wait times vary depending on day and time. And remember, we’ll work with you on timing needs for arranging special events and private parties, which are available 7 days a week.
Online Scheduling CalendarWhat if I need to cancel my axe throwing reservation?
We understand that life happens, and work to accommodate customers who need to cancel or reschedule. We ask for 48 hours’ notice on all cancellations, and if you need to cancel after that, we’re happy to help you reschedule for another day or time. We can also hand you a gift card in the amount or reservation so you can reschedule at your convenience. Refunds and gift cards will not be issued for no call/no show situations, though.
When is Dueling Axes – Las Vegas open?
We’re open 7 days a week for 1-2 hour small group reservations, walk-ins and large group reservations or full facility buyouts. (Sunday – Thursday Noon – 12am, Friday – Saturday Noon – 2am). A wider time range for large group events can be found in our scheduling calendar. Don’t see a time that fits what you want? Give us a call and we’ll be happy to try and fit your group in – we’re confident that we can make just about any time or day work with at least 48 hours notice. You can also check our private event schedule below.

Reservation ToolDo you have private axe throwing lanes or a VIP range?
You betcha! In general, all of our lanes are private. That means Dueling Axes – Las Vegas will never pair you up with strangers or people you didn’t show up with. We also have a VIP room that can accommodate up to 25 throwers. This VIP room will have direct access to the full-service bar, its own dedicated server and 4 throwing lanes in its own private area. Find more details on our axe throwing specials page.
More About SpecialsHow far in advance do I need a reservation?
If you have your heart set on a specific day and time, we recommend you make your reservation several weeks in advance. Reservations are made on a first-come-first-served basis, and weekends tend to fill up quickly, so bear that in mind. It is possible to happen upon an open slot that’s mere hours away, but we suggest giving it at least a few days if you have a small group, or longer if you have a large group.
Do you have axe throwing leagues?
We sure do! You can see information related to leagues below.
League InfoIs there a wait list?
Patrons don’t cancel very often, so if you’ve looked up a specific date and time and found it’s unavailable, you’ll probably have to find another. We do have a handful of walk-in only lanes, for which wait times vary based on time of day and day of the week. Feel free to drop in or give us a call; there’s always a chance, but we can’t make promises.
What if we’re late for our reservation?
We run a tight ship here, and there’s a very good chance that a group will be scheduled for your lane once your reservation ends. That means that, if you show up late, your time on the line could be cut short. We always ask that guests show up 15 minutes before their reservation, if not earlier, for a quick safety talk and coaching session.
Can I bring more people than we reserved ahead of time?
Yes, but your options will depend on the number of people in your group. You can bring additional group members, who can pay on-site, but we suggest no more than 6 people per lane; with more than 6, you may not get to throw as much as you’d like, and it may not be possible to find an adjacent lane for your additional group members. We generally take a “the more, the merrier” philosophy, but try to plan ahead.
Can I rent the whole place?
You certainly can! We’re happy to rent our entire axe throwing facility for your group outing, bachelor/ette party, fundraiser or corporate team-building activities. Visit the Groups page for more information. Contact us for available reservation times, package pricing and any special requests your group may have, and our event coordinator will work to ensure every aspect of your event goes as planned.
